Sylvia Eileen (Roberts) Drumm

Sylvia Eileen Drumm, 91, of Zanesville, Ohio went to enjoy eternal rest on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at the Oaks at Northpointe. Sylvia was born September 5, 1932 in Zanesville, daughter of the late Richard and Margaret (Ray) Roberts. In addition to her parents, Sylvia is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Drumm, whom she married in 1950; her sister, Gladys Wickham; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Edna Drumm; three sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; and her son-in-law, Mark Hartman.

Sylvia leaves to cherish the many life lessons she imparted, her beloved children, Bobbi A. (Drumm) Hartman and Richard (Patty) Drumm; two grandchildren, Kissy (David) Davis and Mark (April) Hartman; three step-grandchildren, Roger (Lana) Kelly, Wesley (Kayla) Kelly and Melissa Kelly; great-grandchildren, Autumn Hartman and Connor Davis; step great-grandchildren, Trentin and Maxtin Kelly, Lucy Kelly and Oliver Kelly; four nieces; and a host of other family members and friends. 

Sylvia was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. All of her children felt her unconditional love. She was an amazing cook, often preparing delicious meals to feed those she loved. Sylvia was the best pie maker there ever was. She also babysat, taking on a motherly role for children outside of her own. Sylvia wasn't afraid to roll up her sleeves and get to work on their family farm. She kept things on the farm together and running smoothly. Sylvia was a kind, wonderful woman who will be missed by all who knew her. 

You may call on the family Monday, February 19, 2024 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., with service to follow at 1 p.m., at Burrell Funeral Services in Zanesville. Minister Lisa Jenkins officiating. Following services, Sylvia will be laid to rest in Duncan Falls Cemetery. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
