Marsha Elaine Fowler

Marsha Elaine Fowler, 63, of Zanesville, Ohio passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024. Marsha was born February 19, 1960 in Zanesville, daughter of the late Elza and Mary (Smith) Fowler. In addition to her parents, Marsha is also preceded in death by siblings, Elza, Rosie, Mable and Charlene; nieces, Annette and Jeanie; nephews, Cory, Mike and Thorla; and her late husband, Dennis.

Marsha leaves to mourn her passing, her daughter, Yvette; siblings, Earl, Connie, Mary Phyllis, Jimmy, Patty, Sheila, Marvin and Keith; a host of many nieces and nephews; special friend Rebecca; and several other loved ones and friends.

Marsha was a Zanesville High School graduate, class of 1977. She went on to obtain a bachelor's degree in marketing and communications, as well as her master's in specialized studies. Marsha dedicated 30 years of employment to Genesis Hospital, and nearly a decade of employment to Ford Motor Company. In her free time, Marsha enjoyed good food and good music. She was an avid gardener, known to grow beautiful flowers. Above most else, Marsha loved her family and friends. Though she was the baby girl of her siblings, she was undoubtedly the rock and the glue of her family. Any of Marsha's relatives knew they could turn to her in any time of need. She will be greatly missed by many.

You may call on the family Friday, February 16, 2024 from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m., with funeral service to follow at 5 p.m., at The Greater Apostolic Church of Christ, 1651 State St., in Zanesville. Pastor Elder Terrence Brown officiating. Per Marsha's wishes, cremation will follow. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
