Janie M Jenkins

Janie Michele Jenkins, 66, of Roseville Ohio, passed away March 20, 2024, at the Ohio State University James Cancer hospital from complications with her brief battle with cancer.

Janie was born July 17, 1957, in Zanesville, Ohio to Leroy and Juanita Smith (Kieth). She was a 1975 graduate of Maysville and employed by the Akro Cooperation for over 22 years.

On April 22, 1978, she married the love of her Life, Frederick K. Jenkins. They loved traveling and seeing the countryside. Lighthouses, beaches and state fairs were some of her favorite destinations. She had a passion for shopping and trying new restaurants.

Janie is survived by her husband of 43 year; daughter, Jennifer (Rocky) Chevalier; son, Dusty (Amanda) Jenkins; grandchildren, Levi (Katey) Spinks, Logan (Katlie) Spinks, Rocky Jr (Jena) Chevalier, Ryan Chevalier, Riley Chevalier, Revan Chevalier, Landon Jenkins, Liam Jenkins and Lukas Jenkins; Great Grandchildren, Maverick Chevalier and Kaison Spinks; Brothers Don (Vicki) Smith, Steve (Sandy) Smith, Keith (Stella) Smith and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Leroy Smith and mother, Juanita Smith.
