Gertrude Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Turner, 73, passed away on March 30, 2012 in a Dayton, Ohio Nursing Home. Betty was born Feb.19, 1939 in Cleveland, Ohio. She is the daughter of Edward and France Turner. Betty attended the Tree of Life Church of Zanesville. Those left to cherish her memory are two sisters, Alyce (James) Kirby, Kay (Robert) Balzer; brothers, Jackie Turner of Cal. and Eddie Turner; nephews, Keith, Kenneth and Jim Kirby and Gregory and Freddie Motley and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Warren Turner. A memorial service will be Monday, April 9, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Burrell Funeral Services, 414 LaSalle Street, Zanesville. Cremation has been chosen. Graveside service at Woodlawn Cemetery to follow.
