James William Holbert, 62, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Genesis Hospice. He was born July 20, 1949 to the late Frank and Lillian (Marshall) Holbert in Zanesville, Ohio. James was a member of the Only Ones Motorcycle Club of Zanesville for over 20 years. He will be missed by his three sons, William ‘Scott’ Holbert, Lawrence Wilson and Antonio Holbert; two daughters, Christina Holbert Mayle and Lindsay Puryear; step-children, Arlena Basden and Rule Goins; sisters and brothers, Linda Mayle of Pennsville, Janice Gibson of Zanesville, Kenneth Holbert of Chesterhill, Jeffrey Norris of Zanesville, Gilbert (Ellie) Norris of Minerva, Vaden Norris and Kimberly Norris of Zanesville; 10 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and special friend, Janet Berrian. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank Holbert and Lillian Holbert Norris. A celebration of his life will be Thursday, March 22, 2012 beginning at 11 a.m. with service to follow at 1 p.m. at Burrell Funeral Services, 414 LaSalle Street with Pastor Gabriel Norris officiating.
